review 1: This is historical fiction at its best--I immediately went downstairs, got my copy of the 600+ page biography of Lindbergh, and began reading it because I wasn't ready to leave these characters and wanted to know more about them. She does a great job portraying the complexity of these two--at times so likeable and at others times so not! The portrayal of Anne's emotions was raw, haunting, and powerful.
