review 1: I loved this book!! I read it in less than one day and ignored my life to do it! :) It brought out so many emotions - and it felt so real, which is refreshing to me because so many books lack the ability to make me feel like that could be my life! Allie has had a rough road and is afraid to love again and Mike has had his own struggles and this is their journey. I love that from the first book to this one, the secondary characters are a still there and are involved and I still get to see what is going on with all of the people I loved the first time around. Allie is such a spitfire but underneath all that, there is a layer of pain that not many people can penetrate. Mike has also been through his own type of hell but is ready to find happiness again. I am starting to fe... moreel like these people could be in my world and I want to be in theirs. Beautiful story by a talented author.
review 2: All I have to say is......WOW!! From the beginning of this book until the very end I was completely captivated. Melanie creates characters you not only can relate to, but ones you feel like you know personally or want to know. This story is about loss, love, trust and learning how to take walls down to learn how to love again. Allie and Mike's journey is one many people, including myself can relate to and one that I loved watching unfold. I would highly recommend this book to anyone to read ASAP! less
