review 1: I liked having this little companion to the series. Some of it was a little redundant if you've read all the books, but I really enjoyed a break down of past lives, conduits and human familiars, as well as the angel names for the main characters. I also really enjoyed the little stories that weren't included in the books. An extra little glimpse into the world that I've come to love! Now it's back to the real meat of the series!
review 2: I liked this book because of the background it gives you with the characters. You learn things about the characters that you never knew or just read over. Not only that it tells you the meanings of the words of the Sacred Language it gives you little stories about some of the Characters. For example when Jack and Schuyler
... morefirst met at the apartment. The book is mainly in the Repositories perspective, which is cool to see from a business view point and how much they know about someone and how much they don't know. It's a cool book. If you are reading this series or are going to you should NOT just over look this book, because it's not really part of the story doesn't mean you should skip over it. This book will make the series clearer for you and possible help you understanding the rest of the series as well. less

A huge disappointment if you're an avid fan of the blue blood series and looking for additional juicy details about your favourite characters.I think it deserved 1.5 stars and since that isn't an option, I had to grudgingly give it 2. In a nutshell half this book is a summary of the series so far and extremely redundant- descriptions and conversations have quite literally been "copy pasted". The other half of the book is a rather bland blend of unnecessary details, hidden promotions for other series (though I quite liked the idea of wolfpack, hence the stars) and barely 2 or 3 "what really happened" stories. Such a disappointment.

I wasn't expecting much from a '.5' book. It was interesting, but I pretty much just skimmed through it, half of what was in it was already said in the books before it. Didn't shed much new light on anything, the short stories were nice though, Schuyler & Jack's first meeting at the apartment.Dylan meeting Hanna, and him figuring out who the silver blood was(Bliss).Bliss finding the wolf,I didn't really read but a sentence here and there of that one.A few things in it was nice to read, who some of them were in their past lives.

Not a book you necessarily need to read. Few extra details on characters but that's about it.

This was a good refresher since I'd taken a break from the series.
