review 1: I thought the concept behind this book was amazing, and it totally took me by surprise as I went in blind. This story could have been amazing...but it fell a little flat for me. There were numerous grammatical errors and little details that were erroneous and could have been caught by a decent editor. Even with the issues with the writing, I was so curious about the story I had to finish the book. I'm happy I decided to finish, but it really didn't wow me in the end. A little disappointed as I had high hopes. 2.5 stars.
review 2: Disclaimer: for my clean reading friends, this may not be the book for you....but it was like nothing I have ever read! The story told in these pages is fabulous! I decided to give this book a shot after reading many reviews that said... more it had a slow first half, but the second half was awesome and the twist at the end was mind-blowing. I can't pass up an amazing plot twist and this book did not let me down. The plot was so unique and intriguing and the storytelling by the author really connected me to characters. I felt their emotions and shed quite a few tears for them like I knew them in real life. The twist is a real jaw-dropper and the ending isn't what you think....I loved this book and highly recommend it! less
