review 1: I didn't know which one of the lover's was going to run or chase the other in this book. It was a long road to finding out they could be free of their baggage and embrace their love and each other. The characters were strong, interesting and had their quirks. I got this as a free book on Amazon and I have already purchased the second book. Good marketing with a good book. I look forward to reading more of Melissa Foster's work. Now, if she only had some with a paranormal thrown in, I wouldn't put my Kindle down.
review 2: Well, i think i should have read this book knowing there is no other Marie Force out there and not expecting it to be the same as those books, this is on me and i think its a good book, but i just kept comparing it and that's not fair. Th... moreat being said i still think it needed to be a little more realistic, i couldn't connect with the characters. I think i will give the second book a try and see if it gets better. less
