review 1: Book two of this series was just as delightful but in completely different ways. I approve! This book weighed far heavier in terms of plot than the first one. I'd say if book one was a romance set in a steampunk adventure then this was a steampunk adventure with a romance. Yasmeen and Fox were not the hot and heavy couple of book one. Instead their attraction was super sweet and playful. This story, these characters and this romance switched gears in all the best ways. Now please let Scarsdale get a book!
review 2: Three and a half stars. It would have been a 4 star read had it not been for the rather anti-climactic resolution in the last couple of chapters and for the fact that I was at times completely confused about what was happening. But still a fantastic ... moreread, with fascinating characters, hang-off-the-edge-of-your-seat adventures and a heart-melting romance. And there was Yasmeen. Hands down the best book heroine I have ever read. less
