review 1: Who can resist an adorable cat, especially around a holiday like Christmas? This is a cute fun read, well written and just long enough. I do not feel the romantic aspect was developed enough but the cats made up for that. The story is adorable and perfect for this time of year. I can see this in stockings and under the tree easily. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review through Baker Publishing. This in no way influenced my opinion.
review 2: The Christmas Cat is a fun read. The book describes a situation in which a grandmother stipulates in her will that her grandson must find homes for all of her cats. However, she has an intensive screening process that the prospective owners must pass in order to adopt a cat. The fun is reading about the people ... morethat adopt the cats, and the trials her grandson goes through in locating the future owners. The book was fairly simplistic, which is why I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 stars. less
