review 1: This was a cute story that had me laughing at time and frowning at others but overall I really liked! Kim was good at her job as a legal secretary, the heart of her partners team but it wasn't her passion like books and blogging were. A sought after reviewer of upcoming releases, reading books and rating them fills a void in her life that becomes apparent when she begins dating the associate she has been listing after, Nicholas. It is only on how he cares for her and her happiness that the things Kim wished for bubble to the surface and force her to make choices that she never realized that she wanted. If you are looking for a lighter read that has a hot guy, a snarky girl and her gaggle of friends then this is the book for you! I recommend it to all!
review 2:
... more This is a very cute, very chick-lit book. As an indie author myself, I was very easily drawn into Kim's world as a book blogger. Kim's passion and skill for book reviewing and blogging chick lit helps to give credibility to the genre, which is often maligned. I thought the romance between Kim and Nicholas was engaging and I was rooting for them to work out, despite their motivational differences. To me, the best part was the complex dynamic involving Kim's high school arch-nemesis, Hannah. It is a definite must-read if you like well-written, entertaining chick lit. less
