review 1: A bleak and graphic debut novel, but also incredibly well-paced and beautifully written. The food-service industry is always fascinating to me and Merritt Tierce does an amazing job taking readers behind the scenes of Marie's various restaurant experiences and customer nightmares. I wouldn't recommend this to everyone, but those willing to brave it and follow these characters into the abyss will be rewarded by this young author's immense talent and fearless storytelling.

Grittiest audio I think I've ever listened too. Ok story, worse than what Bourdain writes about.

Smutty, yet smartly written. It's like "Waiter Rant" meets "My Horizontal Life"
