review 1: My sister Elly told me to read this book because she loved it and I have to admit I loved it too. I loved that the chapters were so short and I loved that the chapters changed between the past and the present. And I also loved all the characters, most of all I loved Ben. I did find this book frustrating sometimes but I always do when I read these 'the one who got away' stories. I did of course cry during the book and at the end.
review 2: 4.5 stars. Half a star lost because after ALL they went through the two main characters deserved an epilogue!Otherwise, it was a fantastic love story. couldn't put it down. Read it in one day, stayed up til 1am just to finish. And I have been thinking about it ever since. This is a story about two friends, who were inseparable
... more at College. In fact, their friendship is one of the biggest highlights of this story, with some laugh out loud moments and nail biting sexual tension. But for various reasons, they parted ways after graduation only to (seemingly) "bump" into each other ten years later.Lost chances are remembered and feelings reassessed as both try to make room for each other in their new lives. This was so well written that I could perfectly visualise the characters, the library, the cafes, the dorm rooms...everything. Secondary characters were lovely but didn't overshadow the journey of the two main characters, who were flawed (let's be honest) but as a result, more "real' too.Love, love, LOOOVED this book and recommend it to anyone who likes "friends to lovers" romance... Indulge in this one - you won't regret it! less
