review 1: After reading Archer's Voice, i jumped right into reading another Mia Sheridan book, purely because that book was SO good. However, i think that i was spoilt with Archer and Stinger just didn't measure up. The premise was an intriguing one so that peaked my interest, but ultimately fell flat with the choppy writing. Once we got into the second half of the book, the timeline would skip two weeks, then a year, then two months, then three years - i just couldn't get into that, it didn't flow well. Plus the first half felt like a different novel really, compared to the second. Don't let that deter you though, it just wasn't the story for me.
review 2: Wow!! I think it's safe to say that Mia Sheridan is absolutely amazing! Stinger is another favorite for me!
... moreThe electricity between Grace and Carson was undeniable from the start. I loved how one unexpected encounter, one magical, unlikely weekend with each other changed their lives forever. It took me a few days to read this book, but when I wasn't reading it, I was thinking about it. I cannot wait to read more from Mia! Her books take my imagination to a place where I feel like I am right there with the characters, connected and sharing their joys and pains. Thank you Mia for doing it again! less
