review 1: In the dim and distant past I read and loved Leo. I added this to my TBR and left it to fester whilst I got excited about the new kids on the block, Archer, Calder, Bree, Eden......Anyway, I had a DNF and felt like I wasted a whole weekend so I needed a pick me up - Leo!I knew the story of course. Leo and Evie meet as children in foster care and believe they have found their soul mates. When Leo is adopted and moves his swears to keep in touch and they will reunite and become one forever and ever. Evie is crushed when Leo doesn't keep his promise. Leo's Chance gives us what is going through his mind when he finds his true love again. We feel his turmoil and disgust at what happened to him as a child and the perfect love he feels for Evie.A sweet, sweet book. Mia is totally... more ace.
review 2: Having read 'Leo' , I moved straight on to 'Leo's Chance' . This tells the story of Evie and Leo from his pov. Wow. To be in his head was both heart breaking and soul warming. To watch the walls slowly come down and see him realise how supported and loved he was was just gorgeous. These books reminded me of the Hopeless/ Losing Hope and One Week Girlfriend books. They are equally amazing. I would give this more than 5 stars and Ms Sheridan has become one of my favourite authors. Read these books , you won't regret it. less
