review 1: Pretty damn near to perfection. Only reason this didn't get the full points from me was because a little too many twist and turns too fast, the plot changes are very clever but I think they maybe should have been introduced with more patience and not in such rush. All in all, very convincing opening to a new series and a new "love him or hate him" main character - definitively a series I will be reading every single book from. Recommended pretty much for everyone !
review 2: I read this in basically one day, just couldn't put it down. It's your typical who-did-it crime story and then again it really isn't. A 16-year-old boy goes missing and is found dead and things start to unravel after that. What makes this book stand out from others in the genre are the char... moreacters. There are a lot of them and they all have their little secrets and quirks which is why reading this was so intriguing. You could always discover something new. The story flows really well and the reader is given clues about what happens next and who might have been the murderer and a few pages later it's all changed again. I'd definitely recommend this to everyone who's into crime novels because this is easily one of the better ones I've read lately. less
