review 1: Bad Radio by Michael Langlois started off exciting and wonderful, but about halfway through, I was ready for it to be done. It's got lots and lots of action. Endless action. Nothing but action. And blood, gore and guts and veins runnin' through my teeth... It was decently written, good grammar, no misspelled or misused words--which is why it gets 3 stars from me. Maybe it was just too much of a good thing.
review 2: I really enjoyed this one. It was fast paced and flowed well. The only thing I would have liked to have seen more of would have been Piotr's history and how his role in this story came about. How did he become who he was? Also the different aspects of the worm creatures and the Devourer. Sticking that right at the end didn't give me enough info
... more. I really would have liked more details on that. One more thing, was the author teasing at a possible romance between Abe and Anne? I saw that this was book #1, so I hope the author writes another, but I'm not sure where the story will go? Since the major conflicts were resolved in this book? less

Absolutely captivating book that reads like an excellent cross between Lovecraft and Hellboy.

I enjoyed parts, but overall it really wasn't a great read.
