review 1: I liked this one better than the last one, thankfully. Patsy irritated me in this one too, though. I just don't like her at all. I wasn't too crazy about Stan's character in here either. I'm glad he ended up marrying Linda, but even that was kind of a let-down. He gets injured, leaves, and comes back the next day married and a vampire. After all the build-up of his non-romance with Linda in the previous books, it seems so unfair that he barely got a blurb in this one when they finally got together. I also didn't like how completely spineless he came off in this, though. In the other books, he was smart and no-nonsense. He was more of a wimpy, doddering old fool in this one. Other than that, I liked Libby and Ralph. I've liked Ralph since the beginning, so I'm gl... moread he got his happy ending. I normally don't go for the whole dragon thing, but it was okay in here. I do wish there was more elaboration on Brady, though. He's this high-tech member of PRIS, but he's still human. How can he build shields to make people completely resilient and invisible? Very strange. Maybe he'll be in a later book, since he's decided to stay around town.ETA: I just noticed he's starring in the next book in the series. Woo hoo!
review 2: Okay, so I've read this whole book series. Twice. Yet, this whole series, happens to be one of my favourites. So, I think I'm just gonna be my chaotic self and post them in a weird order! Don't you love me?So, Wait Till Your Vampire Gets Home really is a brilliant book. I couldn't say anything other then that. But it's not a book that you should take seriously. No way. You would definitely be disappointed if you did that. I think I remember reading a few plot holes, but it doesn't damage the book in any way.By book 4, Michelle Bardsley really has her groove going on. She's got a solid world up and running, with believable characters, and even better, humor. The plot line is interesting enough to carry its own out, but with excellent character personalities thrown into the mix its fun an all around fun novel. If you see it, I would definitely recommend picking it up. less
