review 1: I really loved this book. It is my second read by Michele Grant, and I must say this one is my favorite. I listened to the audio version and I was very pleased that there was a male and female narrator.This book is a very romantic read with some seriously sexy love scenes. You will watch the main characters deny their love for each other, dance around their feelings and lose what they have both grown to cherish. Five years later, they come back into contact again... This time, one of them is determined NOT to let the past get into the way of something special.
review 2: Starts out funny, but gets more serious. Having three men back out of marriage just before the day, Christina Brinsley is determined not to get involved again. She indulges in a short fling... more with a younger man who delivers her wedding gifts and has far more depth than she realizes. She returns to her career leaving him hurting. Several years later, she meets "Grown Man Stephen" again. He is all a woman could want and still wants her,but she cannot believe in him when a crisis comes along. You get a little frustrated with Christina who keeps backing off again and again, but eventually she confronts her sweet little lies for the HEA. Lots of very steamy sex in this one and portraits of an enviable life style. less
