Where have I been and what have my eyes seen?

Hi everybody I hope you guys are doing well. Sorry I haven’t posted anything up lately, as you can tell we’ve enter the month of August and you know what that mean…. BACK TO SCHOOL!! Booo! YAY! Why?! Ugh?!? But before I get into going back to school I’ll tell you how I’ve spent my summer.

If you don’t follow me on Twitter you would have seen that I had a summer reading list that I wanted to accomplish. My summer reading was Girl Online:Going Solo by Zoe Sugg, The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger, The Shock of the Fall by Nathan Filer, Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur, All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven and currently I am in that state of reading The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. I’m just going to talk briefly about these books.

Girl Online:Going Solo written by famous youtuber Zoe Sugg, I’m pretty sure most of you guys have heard of her  but if you haven’t she has her on own range of beauty products and also a lifestyle line that she recently launch over a year ago. She has written two other books, Girl Online and Girl Online:On Tour, the books are about a young British girl name Penny and she talks about having her own blog and she also talks about her rocky relationship with Brooklyn Boy,Noah. This book is her final book to this trilogy, of course it’s what you expect is a young teens type of story but I couldn’t help myself into reading it. But besides being a typical young girls book I like how Zoe really explains what its like to have anxiety and experiencing panic attacks.

I suffer through just minor anxiety but to read and almost feel the same way some people have suffer  through anxiety is unbelievable. I recommend you reading this book if you’re into a girl finding her dream guy but not only that but to read about how anxiety really feels is just mind-blowing.

The Time Traveler’s Wife written by Audrey Niffenegger whats funny about me receiving this book is that I was given this book as a Christmas present over 2 years ago! It took me two years to finish reading this novel! And i think most of you have heard about this book as well. The story is about Henry who time travels into the childhood of Claire and eventually meet in the present. Henry being a time traveler and all he gets into odd situations and run ins with other characters. Surely enough it was one of the saddest books I’ve read this summer by far right next to All the Bright Places.

The Shock of the Fall  is a story written by Nathan Filer and it starts off with a 17 year old boy,Mathew, talking about the summer his 8 year older brother Simone had past away when he was the age 6. I have to be honest, it was hard for me to grasp the story in the begining but the more i read the more i waws intrested in what Mathew left out when his brother had past away. At the end I did enjoy reading the book in had consisted of mental health and also down-syndrome. A real thinker of what Mathew was thinking of what he wanted to live his life.

Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur, Oh My God! I loved her poetic writting, everyword i read made my skin get goose bumps, had my body tingling. It was all over the place that i was litteraly riding on Disneyland California Adventure’s California SCreamin’ (yes this is the only rollercoster I have recollection of riding). I was just in love with this book that i finished it in one sitting! Ugh, i just can picture the words, the feeling of emotions over coming me. I Loved It!

All the Bright Places by Jennifer Nivens, I was able to relate to the characters in this story. Noah Finch and Violet Markey are in the middle semester of their Senoir year when they meet each other on top of the bell tower. Their friendship as friends was hard for Violet to admit but for Finch (as he mostly called) kept pushing the idea of friendship even further when they were asigned a group project together. They both end telling each other true story that was being rumored off in school. Their relationship had me craving for more until unexpactaling something happens. All I have to say is that, this was one of my top 3 books I’ve enjoyed reading this summer.

And this is were I signed off with my reading list. I really recomend you guys to pick up one of these books I’ve mentioned today. I’m still in the middle of reading The Kite Runner and an usual book I just recently picked up called Love&Math. See you guys next time!

Remember: Read, read, coffee, read more and then sleep.
