review 1: Great choice of book to read over the Thanksgiving weekend! The idea that one teenage girl can make such a difference in her neighborhood by doing small things for others really fascinated me. As adults, we always say to children, "little things mean a lot" or "It's the little things that mean the most." That is exactly what Nina Ross (15) sets out to do over the summer...one small thing a day for 65 days done anonymously. I enjoyed the domino effect Nina's small things did for her block. I recommend this book to 6th-9th grade girls.
review 2: This was a cute book, and was a pretty quick read. Nina is a typical teen, but is hurting after her grandma's death a year earlier. To keep her positive outlook alive, she plans to do one small act of kindness for ea
... morech day of summer. However, she must deal with a best friend who is trying to win a boy for homecoming, a crush whose home life is going south, an obnoxious neighbor, and her own family isolated from each other. If you are looking for a quick read, I'd recommend this book. less

Cute. Would be a good mother-daughter or comparison project novel with The Happiness Project.
