review 1: I enjoyed the show 19 kids and counting because it is so refreshing to see a family who sees their children as a blessing--not a burden--and are committed to following Jesus Christ in everything they do (even in front of the world's eyes). Many things in the book are not news to fans of the show, but I enjoyed glimpses into the families daily schedule, past history, and organizational practices. If Michelle Duggar can stay sane and organized with 19 children, I should be able to find a way to manage with just one!
review 2: Encouraging and practical advice. I only found a few of the business details a bit dry, but someone else might be fascinated how their big house was built or the used car business ran. I enjoyed Michelle's comments on organization and thrift
... morey tips. Also liked her encouragement on how to raise that many children without raising your voice. :o) Seems like major team work with the Holy Spirit and with each other is the answer! less

The more I find out about this family, the more I admire them. They have a great story to tell!

Although a lot of this was repeated from the show, I did learn a lot about this family.
