Call of the Lycan
review 1: Call of the Sea is the first part of a trilogy about three brothers, the Lycan Princes of the O'Connell clan. Ceana was cursed centuries ago by the Sea Witch and was made into a mermaid and once every full moon Ceana can walk on land to try and find the one who can break the curse. Ian O'Connell almost drowned once and a female saved him, having spent years trying to find her without success he assumed her dead. When history repeats itself and Ian is saved by a woman again, he can't not believe it is the same woman. When Ceana realises that she is still human after the breaking of dawn and almost drowns, she wonders if Ian is the one that is supposed to be impossible to find. This book is seriously hot, with the passion between Ceana and Ian, the tension mounts when tim... moree runs out and Ian has to decide what his true feelings are because if he is too late, the Sea Witch will claim Ceana and the curse will not be broken.I really enjoyed the book, even though it was an extremely quick read, there was enough to keep you entertained. There were comical moments between the three brothers as well as the super steamy sex scenes – it had everything that you would expect from a Lycan tale. I was not disappointed.
review 2: Absolutely Positively Fantastic Read! HOT! HOT! HOT EROTICA!I loved this book for many reasons. One, I have never read a lycan (were-wolf)book mixed with the myth of mermaids and the magic of a sea witch. It was totally awesome and so exciting.A Sea Witch "Urbana"could call men to the sea and then kill them for her own pleasure but when Ceana rescue's her brother the witch curses her and takes her to the sea turning her into a mermaid to live beneath the waves except for the night of the full moon where she can go ashore. The curse can only be broke by a man from land, born under the cancer sign, of the Night, and ruled by the moon but his love must be pure. The erotica romance is so hot and you know when a were-wolf is involved, they can go on forever - LOL Ian (were-wolf) and his brothers were comical and I burst out laughing at many of their comments. I just can't say enough good things about this book. It is a must read and a keeper for the book shelves. It is a short book of about 75 pages but it is fantastic. I wanted more. less
