review 1: This book is a three in one.Three short storys.I will review the book as one review.The first story follows Brianna as she searches for her husbands killer.Brianna meets Arturo and he teaches her how to train with the same weapon that killed her husband.They begin to have feelings for each other.Brianna comes face to face with her husbands killer and realizes things are not always what they seem.The second story we meet Rhiannon she is lost in a snow storm and is rescued by a blind warrior.The warrior is named Kaall,he rescues her from an animal attack and snowstorm.Rhiannon is attracted to him and stays with him a few days.After awhile Rhiannon figures out who Kaall is and fears for his life if she takes him home to her family.Kaall isnt afraid and wants to prove himself ... moreto Rhiannons father.The third story is about Adriana and Liam.Adriana is holding on to a horrible secret that keeps her from being with her love Liam.Liam doesnt know what Adriana did to save his life.Liam and Adriana have to trust their feelings for each other after Liam discovers Adrians "Betrayal".Great storys,exciting.
review 2: Michelle Willingham continues her MacEgan's series with Warriors in Winter. This book continues their story by visiting their children in three short stories. Each story follows the journey of a different couple during the same time period. After finishing this book all I could think was WOW! The short stories blend pretty perfectly giving us different glimpses of the same events and time periods and never become redundant or convoluted. The end product is simply magic. If you love the Highlands and historical romances you can't get much better than Michelle Willingham's MacEgan books! less
