review 1: Hero "Kieren" is a warrior with a high status that was sold into slavery How ? Why ? You'll find out. He become a slave to the Heroine betrothed and then after a while not immediately a spark happens between them. Heroine "Iseult" is a blacksmith daughter she had a child with a man before that was stolen and now she is betrothed to another man a chieftain son. At first she dislikes this high spirited mean warrior and it begins to change .. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------There is a misconception the child appeared in the book very later onI loved the 2 other children
review 2: This book didn't really do it for me. It was an ok read but I wasn't able to really root for the characters and I did not fee... morel any emotional connection. The plot was interesting which made it an ok read but it really felt like the characters were going through the motions, then lusting after one another, then going through the motions again. It is a book to pass the time but not one I will read again. less
