... moretch the Cubs on TV, but when he's gone, she feels the need to bring him back in a way. She decides to try out for the baseball team. Not the softball team, the boys' baseball team. Molly tries out among 30 or so other guys, she meets some friends along the way and finds out that she can be different in her own way and people will learn to accept it. In this adventure by Mick Cochrane, Molly learns that she can do whatever she wants, as long as she has the heart and bravery to try. less

Overall very-nice story about pre-teens, first crushes and letting go. An easy read.
