review 1: I cried a lot. I have very mixed feelings about this novel probably over the fact that I couldn't figure out if I liked or disliked the main characters. The author knew how to push my buttons. Of course by the end of the book I love them. I laugh at myself looking back because I actually put the book down for a couple days because I thought something bad was going to happen that I didn't want to know. Darn it if I didn't have to pick it up again to figure out what the heck it was that made me put it down. I'm glad I did. I guess I'll have to search for some more books that this author has written. I'm curious if there's any more buttons she knows how to push.
review 2: 3.5-4 starsWell writtenWell developed charactersWell developed story lineGreat secondary char
... moreacters. Love Ned!!The story starts present day then jumps back in time ... Transition done well....but i found it quite depressing that an injured 45 yr old man was still broken over a lost love. Depressing ....The last 20% was a bit disappointing ... Not the outcome, love a HEA!! but the pacing was at light speed and much suspension of disbelief required. Don't get me wrong. I was cheering. It actually felt reminiscent to Dan and Vadim for a moment there! And i wanted an epilogue .... How did he details get resolved? Ned update?? less
