review 1: Pretty fun and interesting to have the love of your life come back the same gender as you. And to have your male best buddy returning as a cute girl with a huge crush on you.The best thing of all was that only you alone retained memories of your previous life. review 2: (NOTE: This is a review for the whole manga.)Keidai Saeki is the only one who remembers his past life. He was an Italian gladiator named Sirix in Pompeii. Currently, his friends are also reincarnated but they don't recall those memories like he does. In a twisted turn of events, his wife in Pompeii, Serena, is now a boy, and his best friend, Loleus,... more is a girl. How can he managed to move on if the one he loves in the past is a boy?I haven't read any manga that is similar to NG Life. Keidai is a wonderful character, he struggled to hold on to his memories. He felt that forgetting his past life is like betraying those he has failed in the past. He has been given a chance to have a different life in the present and if he cannot let go, he will be stuck on the past and never moving forward. I applaud the author for such brilliant imagination and this one of a kind story. less
