review 1: Ehh... Where to start with this one? For me, I find the story very shallow and superficial. In the sense that although the boys are cute and all lovey-dovey, everything happened way too fast and almost everyone has no problem with 2 gay boys in a boy band. I mean, seriously? I think that it's ideal but I also know that the showbiz/music industry is scarier than any of the shitstorm combined that happened in the book. Call me Mr. Over Dramatic but it would make me like Danny and Elliot more if the conflicts were more realistic. I certainly would not be rolling my eyes too much if the author did not "Disneyfy" how the boys handled each conflict with ease.
review 2: Wow, now wasn’t that just the sweetest thing. I read YA but they are usually not my favorites. Th... moreis one, however, was just so adorable. And did I mention sweet?It was all really too good to be true. Of course our young lovers had to go through some tough times because of their management being too hung up on image, but it all wrapped up just perfectly when love and friendship get to kick the big bad producer’s ass. Too perfect, somehow, and yet I couldn’t not love it. Oh, and the narration of the audiobook was just awesome. less
