todays blog is going to be a review on the book I am number four by Pittacus Lore. This book is the firsts instalment of the lorien legacies series.
The synopsis according to goodreads:

I can honestly say that if I had been younger when I read this It would probably have been one of my favourite books. This books follow the life of a fifteen year old boy named John from the planet lorien. He tries to blend in as much as possible until he has developed his legacies, a power that will allow him to defeat the race that invaded his home planet and sent him into exile on earth.
But he is not alone eight others escaped to earth, only they are being killed before they develop their legacies. John falls in love with a girl named Sarah and risks everything to save her. With the protection of Henri and the help of his new best friend Sam John must stand up and fight for a home planet he barely remembers regardless of the cost to him.
This is a very unique sci-fi plot line, although I did enjoy it I feel it is more aimed at younger teens. The writing style and language used was pretty simple and would be great for a young reader or for someone who is just looking for an easy read.
I can’t really say I had one major flaw with this book that caused me to only give it 4/5 there was just something about it that didn’t make it the perfect book for me. I know this series continues and I have already got the next 2 books in the series (I’m not sure if there’s more or how long this series is) but I am still unsure whether I will continue this series or not.
