review 1: The premise of the story was interesting and I liked the idea of Nick and Rafferty's weekend getaway exploding into a passionate tryst. The actual story turned out to be fairly placid. I didn't feel anything for the characters and I wasn't really invested in their relationship.The ending was too rushed and I felt that hurt the story. Short stories have a lot of limitations and this story didn't completely overcome that.

The two heroes are really cute, and I really liked the fact that they had a really solid friendship before they took it to the next level. As has been mentioned in a lot of other reviews, I did want to punch Raff in the face multiple times when he was being an idiot, but at the same time I think his reaction to everything was pretty realistic, so I can't really fault him. less
