review 1: Scaredy Squirrel has decided that night time is way too scary. Scaredy sees a horoscope that tells him all his dreams will come true -- what a horrifying thought! Scaredy sets up elaborate traps to make sure his nightmares stay away. They seem to fail miserably, and he has to play dead to make sure it's safe. When he wakes up 8 hrs later from playing dead, Scaredy realizes life is much better with sleep so maybe he should read horoscopes or stay awake at night any more.Another fun addition to the Scaredy Squirrel series. Good for kids who may have trouble with monsters at night, or also just good for anyone who wants a laugh.
review 2: Scaredy squirrel is at it again with the fact that he doesn't want to sleep because there are bad things out there at night. I
... morelove how the illustrator also uses the shadows of things to portray other things. He ends up so tired and exhausted that he ends up sleeping and he feels so much better when he wakes up. This book could be used for children that suffer from nightmares and are afraid of the dark. less
