review 1: Ok I must admit that while I did still really like this one, it would have to be my least favorite of the series. I'm sorry because I did like it, but it just seemed kinda sad and disappointing. They didn't end up together and I really just couldn't understand their relationship. Did they love each other? Was she just using him? Did they get back together or something? I really was just confused most the time. Oh and though the sex was really hot and yummy lol I also I found it really weird how the small dainty little vampire girl liked it hot and hard and fast and dirty, and yet the big hot strong powerful dominant alpha-male shifter man wanted it soft and sweet and slow and gentle. I mean honestly, does no one else find that kinda weird? I mean, dang, it's the complete o... morepposite of what you'd expect and while I applaud Moira Rogers for thinking outside the box and all but maybe this was a little TOO far-stretched lol idk I did still enjoy it but just wasn't as good as the other 2. That Ole Black Magic is still my fave of the whole series ;););););););););)
review 2: This is a short story and boy is it steamy, hot and then some. The plot is very simple, Ella is at odds with another vampire and she needs the help of her old lover Blake. And of course this book is full of se*, so defiantly not a young adult book; at least not in my opinion. I really like the details in this book and I guess the reason for that is because so many short stories feel superficial to me. But this one, you can tell that at one point that Blake was really in love with Ella and still does love her in a sense. But old Ella is just not the take home mother type; she is dominant, self absorb, power hungry....you know what!!! In the end to me, it seems that she just assumed that Blake would contain to come back and let her play mind games with him. She really does love Blake, in her twisted way and Blake wants so much more. This is a must read, of course with a glass of wine!!! less
