A Cumberland Creek Mystery
review 1: When I started reading, I was confused. It starts out talking about a woman by the name of Beatrice and how she was stabbed in the neck. There was no mention of her in the synopsis. As I continued to read, I understood more about who she was and what part she played in the story. However, it was not until much later in the events does it explain the stabbing. at first, I found the characters superficial and annoying. Instead, the author creates a complex background story for each of them. The only major issue I have is that after the climax of the plot, the aftermath feels rushed. at that point, many points were simply jumped over. Overall, I found the entire book entertaining.
review 2: My first for Mollie Cox Bryan and not what I feel comfortable putting o
... moren my cozy book list. It's has a little more sex involved than you would find in a normal cozy ( I didn't mind I've read 50 Shades) but I did enjoy it and have the second one ready to go. I did like all the characters and they each felt like to me being the "main" character of the book. Can't wait to find out more about Annie, Vera, Sheila and the others. less

Okay - mystery was okay but too much detail about scrapbooking.

Boring. Didn't like the way it was written.
