review 1: Loved this Molly has become one of my fave Authors. Writing style bob on. so easy to get into and keep you turning the pages. Maci has very overprotective brothers so much so she hasn't had a boyfriend, well not with their knowledge anyway. Connor is their brothers best friend, Maci's neighbour and has known Maci all her life but things change from seeing her as his friends sister and vice verca Maci's brothers friend to something more. Its a great interesting read, no major dramas just a good romantic hot read. If you liked Wallbanger you will like this.
review 2: Stars: 4Overall: We met Detective Connor Green in the first book From Ashes and I personally fell in love with him because he was oh so alpha male. The story starts with Maci chatting with her friend... more amber about her "friends with benefit/ kind of boyfriend" Bryce. He is a lousy lay and lately hes being more controlling like his own father. Maci runs into her neighbor/crush Connor as she is coming home, but for the past 6 months he has been acting like a zombie and she doesn't know why. So Maci decides to play a prank on him and this starts the prank war between them. Connor is still trying to get over Cassidy and he is doing that in the beds of different "sweethearts". After a few pranks and one hell of a kiss Connor starts seeing Maci in a whole new light, but Maci has 4 over protective brothers that Connor just happens to be best friends with and she doesn't believe anything can become of their relationship. There was a lot of negative thinking and some steamy sex sessions. The ending was practically magic and I hope they are featured in future books in this series.Pros: I really loved Maci and Connor's romance because it was wild, steamy and so not perfect. Her best friend Amber cracked me up throughout the whole book and my favorite little part had to be the story of when they first meet. I really loved Connor's character because he was Alpha but also that sweet and tender person when he needed to be.Cons: Her brothers and Bryce. Bryce has an asshole category all to himself because of the things that came out of this mouth. ( You look like the mistress, not the wife.) If I was Maci, I would've introduced him to her brothers and let them take care of the beating. Her twin brothers were just assholes who really needed to grow up. Now I grew up with 2 younger sisters and the brothers make them look like angels compared to them.
