review 1: I want to start by saying that i LOVE Molly McAdams. Rating this a two actually breaks my heart. I usually look forward to reading any of her books. I also want to say I am not anti-cheating or love triangles (Taking Chances is my ALL time favorite book ever). So it wasn't the cheating that did it for me, it was the insta-love - the cheesiness. I just felt it was way to over the top. These people meet- say maybe 5 words to each other and then they are SO in love to the point that they are uprooting their lives entirely. I actually skimmed and skipped a lot of the mushy stuff to just get through the book. Idk, maybe i am just over my romance novel phase.
review 2: I received this free from a Good reads giveaway.This book was OK. I almost quit halfway through but... more since it was a giveaway I felt obligated to finish. The insta-love was a little annoying between the main characters. There's a love triangle and an affair. Main character Brody is constantly being manipulated by his nut job wife which just got pathetic and frustrating. But, it did make he want to finish to find out what happened. less
