review 1: Ms. Molly.... You are an amazing evil genius! You made Chase' s POV seem like an almost completely new book....You knocked out goodreads on your debut night! You slammed Facebook with all the posts about getting this book! Worldwide you readers stayed up past midnight to just see it in their own hands! Do you realize how epic that is?Thank you! Thank you! You gave me Chase back.. Living, breathing, and able to fall in love, again. I love his thoughts... I love him... And because of this... I could not finish it... I want to stay in my happy bubble with him and Harper finally together... Anxiously waiting for the arrival of their beloved gummy bear... I know you will understand... It's because... I just....I can't have my heart shattered again.... ... more Xox
review 2: I knew this was going to be a hard read, so if you haven't read Taking Chances you won't understand why and I wouldn't read any farther......I could have read this in a day, no problem. I had to take emotional breaks from Stealing Harper. It was as brilliantly written as TC was. It drove straight to the core of your heart and twisted it till it ripped in two! yes, I little melodramatic, but Molly McAdams can do that to you. She can write heartache and love in the same paragraph and make you think about it and cry about it for days. Now, Stealing Harper was the POV of Chase Grayson...I need a moment of silence....I knew what was going to happen to him. I lived out his want, denial, want, need and ultimately his love for Harper. we cheered for him, yelled at him when he did stupid stuff, felt sorry for Brandon and breathed a happy sigh when Harper became Chases. Then the worst tradegy happened....I can't even write it...it was bad enough for my fragile emotional state reading their story from Harpers POV but reading their story from Chases POV was devastating. I think I started crying by the end of chapter one.I didn't realize that's how TC was going to end, it was a hard read for me in the end. I was so mad how that ended. so reading Stealing Harper was so sad, so heart wrenching yet so inspiring, it was telling us to spend every moment with the persons we love,.tell that person your in love with you love them if they don't know, fight for that person that needs fighting for and watch your damn driving!!! The end of this book, even knowing how it was going to end, was absolutely my breaking point. The rawness of his last thoughts, the realness of what was happening as he took those last breaths. I will have the imprint of Chases story forever in my brain. less
