review 1: I was thrilled with how the series ended. I have to say I did not expect the turn of events , really in any of the volumes but from the end of volume 4 throughout volume 5 I was really nervous hoping Piper would make the choice I was hoping for !! Piper has grown quite a bit in her confidence over this span of time. She finally realizes what she wants and who can give her that. Not only that but she is able to express those feelings to both guys. I was freakin out with the distance her and Julien had but I was also glad for Piper to be able to do for herself and dance and earn a spot in a great show !! For a quick steamy serial this tops my list. Full of hot sex and drama but also some heartache and real life struggles. Piper and Julien have just had their night !! DAMN it... more was nice , but of course Reed shows up to throw a wrench in her path. Not really knowing what is going on between her and Julien but knowing she has to make a choice about Reed really puts the pressure on. It doesn't take Piper long to decide who she wants and what she wants but is it too late ?? Can she reach him despite his attempts at distancing himself or will he continue to blow her off until she gives up. It drove me crazy just waiting for the one moment to finally happen. To know that Piper would have an HEA and be able to put all the crap behind her and move forward with the man she wants to be with.
review 2: Yay! What a great ending to this phenomenal series! I have loved every series that Parker has written, and this one did not disappoint! I have loved Julien since dumb Brock brought him along to Vegas. I had no idea how Parker would end this series,the way that she ended book four, I had no idea which way she would go. It was such a cliffhanger, thank goodness the wait wasn't too long! Book five picks up right where book four leaves off and the drama picks up immediately. I wanted Piper to end up with Julien so badly, she needed to finally get her happily ever after, but Parker kept that decision to herself for quite some time!The heartache that Piper went through was pure torture, but thankfully Parker decided to give it up and I am so happy with the ending!I can't wait for more from her, she is an amazing author! less
