review 1: If you're familiar with Earthbound Farm, then you know what kind of quality of cookbook to expect. What a little gem of a book this is! There are 25 different and interesting salad recipes, separated into seasons so as to use seasonally fresh ingredients. The last part of the book is ads for other books by the author and other books by the publishers. The front matter is heavy on reasons for organic gardening. The other two books by the author sound interesting. This was well-written, simple to follow and had some nice use of beets, figs, turnips and the like. less
