review 1: Frankly I can only take so much of her, and don't watch her show, but . . . . I love her recipes. She's not just an Italian girl. No, she actually makes a wide variety of recipes with lots of vegetarian and mediterranean too. Some examples: pizza, turkey matzoh ball soup, Thai green curry with eggplant and udon noddles, pierogies, chana dhansak, spicy shrimp po boy, moroccan fig and butternut squash couscous, balsamic baby back ribs, vegan dark chocolate and caramelized banana pie, oh, and don't forget the chocolate bacon. Surprised? So was I. I'm planning on making several of these recipes. If you can ignore her shtick, you'll be okay.
review 2: Full of the Nadia fun we've come to expect. Excellent photos of ALL the dishes. Plus, the food looked so good
... more I decided this is a book for my personal collection, not just a jot down two recipes and done kind of book. But not only is this book fun, there's also a wide range of types of recipes. Recipes for weight loss, recipes for parties, recipes for leftovers. Definitely worth a read! It will cheer your spirits, as well as beef up your recipe collection. less
