review 1: It's not the girly, suspenseful romance I thought it would be. I didn't become attached to any of the characters only maybe Natalie, the new up coming artist because I love to paint. But seriously her story, Natalie, was boring I only continued to read just to find out what her other paintings would be. I wasn't surprised to find the ending was one of those stories were everything, every problem, every feud, and all worries came together for everyone at the same time and lived happily ever after. maybe I'm getting to old to read these stories, idk.
review 2: This is the story of 3 women who are thrown together for the summer on Dragonfly Lake: Bella, Morgan and Natalie. The story does not support the great friendship the 3 supposedly share. Morgan and Bella ... moreboth have a dalliance with Natalie's bad boy brother, Slade, though one is married and the other practically engaged, all with no consequences. Throughout the story, Natalie's mother is disparaged, yet when she appears at the end she has transformed into a beautiful, caring and charming woman. The book ends a bit abruptly. Somehow, all the knots get untangled and everybody lives happily ever after. . . This is, after all, fiction. less
