review 1: was a quick but fun read. Jack & Libby are cute in the can't keep their hands off one another way after their initial falling out. Jack thinks she's trying to get to his younger brother, rowing champion set for the up coming Olympics Tom. Libby can't believe Jack thinks she's trying to seduce Tom with her special muesli. She doesn't do long term because of a painful past & Jack doesn't either but neither can stop the freight train headed their way. It's cute, fun & heart warming. Would definitely recommend as a good read. Looking forward to reading the next 2 installments in this series.
review 2: I think this book had the potential of at least 100 more pages, I'm really not sure why the author didn't try for more! The beginning was very cute and the first lov... moree scene was hot but once they got together, there was a lot of fade to black, as if the author wanted to speed up their relationship.Libby's concerns made sense but we never knew if she had ever had tests to determine whether she inherited her parents' issues - was she just assuming she was going to die young based on her parent's history? Also, I didn't believe that she would do a 180 so quickly. I think this is the kind of thing that takes time to figure out. I know what I'm talking about here...I was a commitment phobe when I met my husband (he was the opposite...just my luck that I would fall for a man who was into serious commitment!) Anyhow, it took me several months to realize that I had either to take the plunge or lose him. It wasn't something I figured out in a couple of hours.This author has potential though so I'm willing to give her another try. I also love the setting in London during the Olympic Games! less
