review 1: I am quickly becoming addicted to this author's work, and this novel certainly doesn't disappoint.RAGE is an erotic thriller that at times reminded me of the horror writer Richard Laymon, the way this author mixes some of the downright sexiest scenes I've ever read with a page turning thriller is very clever; full of twists and turns with a major twist that I never saw coming towards the end, this novel kept me hooked from the immediacy of the start to the relaxed ending and not once was I bored.Chloe might well be the sexiest, most self-assured character that I've ever come across and the author has clearly set out to write a strong female character that can kick ass just as much as the men.At times this novel is very dark and the secrets of Dan's childhood when they are ... morerevealed are truly shocking and throughout this novel is the clear message of what it means to stand for something no matter the dangers. The sex scenes are incredible and the banter between Dan and Chloe very naturalistic and at times very funny.I highly recommend this to anyone who wants something to read that's different from all the '50 shades' clones that have flooded the market over the last year or so.
review 2: I have started to leave reviews for these small indie authors that my girlfriend and I have come across to let people know how good or bad they are, and this, thankfully is one of the good ones.Part thriller part erotic love story, the blend actually works rather well with some very good set pieces, plenty of action and a fair few twists before the novel is done. The sex is well written and you actually believe in the two main characters Chloe and Dan and the sex is plentiful, its a far out concept, mixing so much sex with such a dark subject matter but it does work for the most part.At the heart of this novel I think is one man's unwillingness to sit idly by when nasty people are doing nasty things (warning: some of the violence and the underlying themes are very graphic and when Dan's past is revealed it makes for uncomfortable reading), this is an excellent novel by an unknown writer to my girlfriend and me (she's currently reading this). Its well written with a high level of English, and its obvious the author made sure to check for typos and to format the book correctly.I recommend this to mean and women, its a good long read and was well worth the small price we paid for it on amazon. less
