review 1: It's actually a good vampire book!! I like Cor. I like how he controls his needs (very sneaky). I like the nerdy friend Taylor although he does take the vampire news rather well. I think I would have at least questioned my own safety or taken a day to sleep on it. I just gotta know why 'the girl' starts out dating the king jerk of the school before she meets super nice-guy Cor. She seems like a nice girl. Cor's mom...not sure how I feel about her. She kinda lies a lot but (if vampires were real) I wonder what kind of story I would concoct for my kid. Looking forward to book 2.
review 2: I was pulled in immediatly with this story. You have to know what happened to Cor. You need to understand what he is even though you know what he is. You are trying to figur... moree out if Cor knows what he is. Caytlin is sweet & Cor likes her a lot. But she has a crazy, jovk, asshole boyfriend that you see being a problem right off the bat. You love Taylor, you can't help it. I feel he is attractive in that lab coat, brains are sexy way. But I can see him as sexy without knowing he is. I will be reading the next book in this series. less
