My New Blog: After spending weeks umming and aahhing about whether or not to start up a separate blog just for my book reviews and other bookish ramblings I finally bit the bullet and here we are. It’s still in the early stages yet but I’ve got loads of ideas. All I need now is the time!
TV Box Sets: I recently found the first two series of Madam Secretary on Sky and managed to get myself hooked. This week I watched the final episode of Season Two only to realise that series three started a couple of months ago and I can only get from episode 7 on catch up. Damn you Sky!
Majorca Here We Come: I’m all about the holiday planning this month. It’s less than 3 weeks before we jet off to Majorca with the family and I’m heading into overdrive with my planning and organising. Check out My Chaotically Eclectic Life for more holiday related posts.
Book Series: I really need to stop reading books from series while I have so many other books to read. So far this year I have added too many books to my Want to Read list from book series that have got me hooked. My most recent one is the Erin Solomon Pentology by Jen Blood.
Adulting: I’ve been winning at being an adult this week. I feel a little sad admitting this but I have finally caught up with all my ironing! My plan is to not do any more laundry until the weekend and then only things that don’t need ironing. Hopefully I can get away without having to iron for another week if I’m lucky.
Good Old British Weather: I really wish the weather here would make it’s mind up which season it’s trying to be. Today we have had glorious sunshine and strong winds. Last week we had horrendous hailstorms and torrential rain. I don’t know from one minute to the next what freak weather we are going to encounter.
Birthday Baking: I baked a rainbow cake for my friend’s birthday last weekend. It was the first time I’d attempted anything like this. I’m pleased to say it was a complete success and everyone loved it (especially the birthday girl!).
Trello: I’ve fallen back in love with this awesome program. The inner geek in me is loving how amazing it is for keeping me on track with everything.
My mind has been mainly non bookish related this week, although I have managed to squeeze in one bookish item.
