review 1: Adam Rex and Neil Gaiman are kind of my dream team author/illustrator pair, so I was pretty excited about this book. It is utterly charming. The plot is a little thin, so I won't be using it for story drama or anything like that, but it's simple and predictable rhythm would make it an excellent naptime or bedtime book. Rex's lush illustrations could provide lots of entertainment for astute young readers who like to look for lots of funny little details in action scene pictures.
review 2: It's more of a 3 star book because I expected more but since introducing my daughter to it, Chu's Day has become a favourite. While the story is simple and less-than-interesting overall (relying on a simple gag), the book is beautifully illustrated and great for the beginner r
... moreeader and listener. My daughter has more fun pointing out the wonderfully drawn animals and naming them (learning words right now) as she has mimicking Chu. less

If you love pandas, you will love this book. It is a sweet story about a big sneeze.
