review 1: A sweet short story with plenty of Christmas spirit.I’m not really a big Santa/Christmas magic fan but if you are then this short read is for you. The story follows Molly after she inherits the mysterious Christmas Hill property from her aunt Gertie and discovers she is related to Santa. Sceptical at first about the magical tale the handsome groundskeeper Nate spins for her, Molly is cautious about believing in anything so she won’t have to deal with the disappointment if it turns out to be untrue. His charms and strange unexplainable occurrences around the house quickly convince her there is something magical happening about the place and the story moves to a quick conclusion from there.Overall this was a sweet short read I’d recommend if you’re a fan of this auth... moreor and are looking for some Christmas cheer. If not, I wouldn’t really bother. There isn’t much to it and it doesn’t look like it is going to turn into a more substantial series anytime soon. I enjoyed it and was pleased to find another read by this author that I like – even if it was a bit short.
review 2: Are you in need of some Christmas spirit? Does the holiday shopping and errands have you feeling a bit like Scrooge? Well then sit down, prop those tired legs up, and grab a mug of hot apple cider....cause Chase has just the book for you. Be prepared to revel in some Christmas romance in this adorable short story that is sure to warm your heart.For me, short stories have to be really well written for me to like. And up until this book, I only liked a select few of them. But now I can add this book to the list of short stories that are a must read…especially now that it is Christmas. I promise that once you are done reading this book you are going to be smiling ear to ear and singing Jingle Bells. Well maybe not Jingle Bells, you can add whatever favorite Christmas song you want there. Just know you are going to fall in love with these characters and this story. And I can almost bet you will be wanting, nay…you will be demanding more of this story from Chase. Maybe if we all band together she will give in. Who’s with me?? less
