review 1: 2.5 stars When stumped about what to read next I looked up Canada Read and Giller Award winners and stumbled across this title. It was an interesting enough read about three individuals living in Montreal who are unknowingly connected to each other and whose lives intersect on occasion. While caught up in each of their stories while they unfolded, at the end I found myself thinking, 'so what?'.
review 2: This was one of those books that I would have never picked up in a million years were it not our book club selection. I found it intriguing and at one point noticed a word that made it seem like it was a translation. Lo and behold it was... but that one word was the only one that gave it away for me. I can't really explain the plot other than it is the live
... mores of three separate individuals that are interlinked, though they have no idea. less
