review 1: This is a DNF for me, simply because of all the random Greek and the overabundance of product placement. No, I don't care what brand of body wash he's using, and stop namedropping cartoon characters! I don't tolerate it in TV, why should I tolerate it in books?Speaking of unnecessary things... Wow, the author sure padded her word count with the food descriptions. I started skimming to see if the book ever got less boring, but apparently not.
review 2: DNF for now, this book should have been something I loved based on what I know I like. However, this book was just not for me, I don't like Mason at all, I don't like certain things about the plot though I won't go into all the things I don't like because I don't want to spoil anything and I'm too tired. I used to... more always finish books no matter what but then I realized that I have a lot of books that I own but haven't read yet and that since my free time is limited, I should probably spend that time actually reading something I enjoy, something that I don't have to struggle to keep reading, something that I don't find myself wishing it were over. I was about 60 pages from finishing this book and I just can't do it. If I don't finish a book, I don't feel it's right for me to rate so I won't, I just had to share my thoughts. Normally I love books with children, this one; not so much.I just had to add that I've read two other books by this author and enjoyed them, giving them four stars, I'm kind of disappointed that I didn't like this one. less
