review 1: There are some good ideas here, but the delivery of the ideas is a major obstacle for my acceptance of them. The book reads like a PowerPoint presentation, with "Remember & Share" and "Do This Now" bullets at the end of each already highly chopped up chapter. Everything is a heading, a bold callout, a highlighted box. Approaching the subject with a this-is-a-training-session-with-BONUS-TIPS!-and-EXPERT-HINTS! style tends to undermine the disclaimer that these tips are meant to be used for good, not evil.
review 2: Great info - but even as a short read, this book dragged out more than it needed to (a common problem with most great ideas that choose nonfiction as their vehicle for delivery), to get it's great points across. For anyone in product creation, this i... mores a great primer on how to build things in such a way that you can cause usage and adoption to more naturally occur. Took me ages to finish because the basic concept comes out swinging, and then there's just a book to read still. less
