review 1: I read the synopsis for both The Hook-Up Doctor's Guide and What a Boy Wants simultaneously and decided I wanted to read the latter first. Figured I would find out too much about the actual book before I even read it. The Hook-Up Doctor's Guide didn't give away anything specific but for me I felt I would of known more than I wanted to know had I read it first. The book sounded more like a promotional book for it's counterpart. If not for that I would have said it could have been 1.5 instead of 0.5. It was interesting, especially since I read it after I think. It consisted of a few examples of The Hook-Up Doctor's cases and "Sebastian'Rules", reason(s) for his advice. Even though there's a disclaimer that this is not a self-help book, I think people can still take away the ... moregist of what's in it, be confident and in control of your "romantic" life, don't change who you are for anyone.
review 2: Tenemos a la chica me-gusta-un-chico-mayor, después la de soy-uno-de-los-chicos, continuando con la de no-quiero-ser-tan-lanzada, y así por el estilo.Lo que me gusto de esta por decir "historia corta" es que realmente me hizo reír pero aparte de eso creo también puede ser realmente de gran ayuda si estas atravesando por cualquiera de los casos que se le presentan al Dorctor Cupido, se puede decir que aunque Bastian no lo sabe todo tiene clara muchas cosas, y sientes como si cada uno de los consejos estar realmente dirigidos hacía ti. less
