review 1: The 1st of Valley of Choices series, I was impressed with the read. It is really 2 stories 3 hundred years or so apart (doesn't give exact present day period). In the 1730's an Amish family leaving Switzerland to come to American to be free to farm and practice their religion. Present day story is just as intriguing and all of it is very believable. Can't wait to get the next books in the neries. Plan to order the rest in next library order. A great read!
review 2: Annie Frieson is a wealthy software creater who has all that life has to offer until her boyfriend teams up with her business partner to try to take over her business. She escapes them by leaving town in the back of a truck. The truck takes her to a small Amish community where she is shown kindness ... moreand sees a simpler way of life. She needs to find a way out of her dilemma. In the midst of this we learn more about her family tree that carry the reader back to the 1700's. Annie must decide what she wants out of life and what is most important to her. I enjoyed the book immensely because I love historical fiction, mystery and Christian fiction. It was a sweet mixture of all three.The book leaves you wanting to read more in the 3 part series. less
