review 1: **I received this book from Netgalley for my honest review***Rafe is Melanie’s old boss. She left his employment because she had fallen head over heels in love with him. She moved to a job in a coffee shop just to get away from him and from the knowledge that he would never be hers and that her love, in her mind, would never been returned.One day, Rafe drops by and asks Melanie why did she quit her job working for him. Melanie just was not sure what to say-that she was so in love with him but he didn’t love her and oh he had fallen in love with her best friend Jessica who was marrying his brother Dane.As the story progresses , you find out that Rafe used to be the lead singer in a band and went by the name “Storm”. Well his band is back out on the road and Melanie ... morewas asked to travel with the band as a roadie after she lost her job as a barista.Melanie finds she is attracted to Rafe as well as Travis and Diego. After finally getting to have a magical night with Rafe, Rafe tells Melanie he doesn’t want a relationship and just wants friends with benefits relationship. Melanie is devastated. After deciding to let go and look for a man who will give her the relationship, which looks to be Travis , Rafe realized that he doesn’t want Travis around her. ( as you are reading this story, there is a backstory regarding Travis and his hidden agenda regarding his hate for Rafe).This is such a twisted woven story of love regarding Rafe and Melanie. I highly recommend reading it.My Rating: 5 stars ****
review 2: ‘I recieved a copy of this book from the Publisher through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review’Melanie quit her job. It was a great paying job but she was in love with her boss while he was in love with herbest friend Jessica. She could not watch him moon after her day after day. So she took a lower paying job ata coffee shop. She didn’t expect Rafe to come to her new job to see her. Jessica gives her a certificate to a tattooshop for her birthday and she runs into Rafe there. Only he dosn’t look like Rafe. Come to find out Rafe used tobe in a band and went by the name Storm. He is playing with the band and invites Melanie to come see him. Incomes a problem. She knows that she is in love with Rafe but finds herself very attracted to a couple of his bandmates also.Rafe has always had an attraction to Melanie. But he was her boss. He couldn’t let himself go there. But now heis starting to realize that he isn’t her boss anymore. There is nothing stopping them from exploring their attraction.After they have a great night together when he plays with his old band he tells her he dosn’t want a relationship.That dosn’t go so well. Then when he finds out that a band mate of his. Travis is interested in Melanie also he hasto look inside himself and see if he really only wanted one night or if he wants something more. All he knows ishe dosn’t want Travis near her.When Melanie decides to go on tour with the band as part of the Crew and Rafe does not their relationship is putto the test. There are two band mates, Travis and Diego that really put her and her relationship with Rafe to thetest. Will Rafe and Melanie survive distance and Temptation?My Opinion: I enjoyed this book. This is the first book that I have read by this author. I liked the internal strugglesthat both Rafe and Melanie have to go through. It was definitely a very hot book. Fair warning it does have a veryhot four some scene. I will definitely be looking to read more books from this author. I found this book hard to putdown. I was hooked right from the beginning. I really enjoyed watching Rafe come into the role that both him andMelanie wanted. It seemed to be a real struggle for him to get to that point.
